Nigerian oil company, Aiteo Group, has replaced Globacom as the sponsors of the CAF Awards.
Aiteo made the announcement via Twitter, Sunday, alongside a picture of CAF President, Ahmad Ahmad, in Lagos.
“We are now proud to take our corporate social investments in developing African football by sponsoring @CAF_Online award,” the company wrote.

The annual CAF award recognises the impact of African players, coaches, administrators and national teams in the year under review.
Globacom has been sponsor since 2005.
Aiteo has been very active on the football scene in the last few months.
The oil giant is the sponsor of the Nigerian FA Cup; the latest edition was won by Akwa United on Sunday night.
it also has a huge partnership deal with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
