Ajay, daughter of a former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has graduated from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.
She graduated on Monday with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Sociology.
Wife of the former governor, Florence Ajimobi, posted pictures of the family celebrating with the new graduate.
She said: “Today, to the glory of God, my baby @ajayajimobi graduated from University!
“As a family, we are truly grateful to the Almighty God for his guidance and support over her life.
“We indeed give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! (1Chronicles 16:34).”
Ajay was girlfriend to Olugbenga Abiodun, aka DJ Olu, the son of Dapo Abiodun and friend of Davido, who was found dead in a car along with Chime Amaechi in Banana Island in 2017.
Ajimobi’s daughter joins the list of Nigerian politicians’ children who recently graduated from foreign universities.
Fiyinfunoluwa, son of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, recently graduated from the same University of Warwick.
Obinna, son of former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, also recently graduated from Simon Fraser University in Canada, among others.
