Mr Ojogo dismissed allegations that Akeredolu had handed the management of the forest reserves to a company linked to the son.

Akeredolu had spoken about giving his son a role in the government during dinner to mark his third year in office.

He said no one could stop him if he appointed his son as his chief of staff.
