Ondo State Government has banned the activities of commercial motorcyclists from the state’s section of the Benin-Ore-Shagamu Expressway.
A statement on Thursday by the Commissioner for Information, Donald Ojogo, said the decision was taken to curtail the activities of persons hiding under the guise of engaging in motorcycle business to perpetrate crimes on the expressway.

“By this development, all activities of commercial motorcyclists are henceforth, restricted to internal confines of Ore town (in Odigbo Local Government Area of the state) and other communities in the area.
“To this end, the government had directed all the security agencies in the state, especially the Nigeria Police, to apprehend anyone who flouted the restriction order.
