Ondo State First Lady, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
An aide to the governor who did not want to be named told The Punch on Thursday that a security aide to the governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, also tested positive for COVID-19.
“Yes mama’s (first lady) result has come and it was positive. One of the security men attached to the governor is also positive and has been asked to go on isolation,” the source was quoted saying.
Mr Akeredolu had ordered his aides and appointees to go for COVID-19 tests after he tested positive.
Mrs Akeredolu, it was learnt, has been on self-isolation for some days.
