Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has paid tributes to the late socialite and businessman Bolu Akin-Olugbade.
Mr Akin-Olugbade died on Wednesday of COVID-19 complications in Lagos.
In a tweet on Thursday, Mr Fani-Kayode revealed he attended the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom together with the late socialite in the 1980s.
He also described him as a brilliant and wonderful man.
“I lost my dear friend Dr. Bolu Akin-Olugbade to Covid 19. We were at Cambridge University together in the 1980’s & he was a wonderful man. He was brilliant & cerebal & he hailed from one of the most distinguished & illustrious families in the South West. Rest in peace brother,” he said.
Akin-Olugbade got his doctorate in Company Law at Cambridge University.
He was a lover of luxury cars, especially Rolls-Royce.
