President of African Development Bank (AfD), Akinwumi Adesina, and wife, Grace, have visited the President of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara.
Adesina, a former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, said in a tweet that they visited the Ivorian leader on Friday.

Calling Ouattara his elder brother, Adesina said he was grateful for the president’s support for him as head of AfD.
“It was wonderful for my wife Grace and I to be with my Big Brother, President @AOuattara_PRCI today at his home. I am most grateful for the excellent support for me as President of the African Development Bank. Merci beaucoup Excellence Monsieur le President!💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻” he said.
Adesina became the first Nigerian to hold the post of AfD President after his election in 2015.
