Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, George Akume, on Friday played host to former federal lawmaker, Ned Nwoko and his malaria eradication project team.
Mr Nwoko was accompanied on the visit by his wife, Regina Daniels, an actress, and actor Bob-Manuel Udokwu.
Nwoko spoke with the minister on the objectives of the project which includes environmental fumigation and sanitation of the entire country and his interest in funding research for a malaria vaccine.
He expressed the need to sensitise the masses through advocacy, mobilisation and other control measures.
Akume assured Nwoko of his cooperation in achieving the objectives of the foundation.
He expressed hope and confidence in the project and assured him that the message would be communicated to President Muhammadu Buhari.
