Gbolahan Olugbemi, a deputy commissioner of police (DCP) and former aide-de-camp (ADC) of the late ex-Oyo State governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, has been found dead in his house in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Olugbemi attached to the Lagos Police Command had travelled to Ogbomoso for the Easter holidays.
The police, through spokesperson of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) ASP Aminat Mayegun, said his death would be investigated.
A police source at FCID was quoted by Daily Trust as saying that some persons would be invited for questioning over the incident.

“This is to ascertain where the deceased went to before his death, who was with him at the time he entered his room, including who had his two handsets as of the time of death,” the source said.
Olugbemi’s body was reportedly found alone in the building.
The 50-year-old was a United Nations medalist in law enforcement and administration.
