Fancy Acholonu, the girlfriend of Nolywood actor, Alexx Ekubo, has revealed that the actor missed the Oscar awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday to vote in the Nigerian elections.
The beauty queen disclosed this via instagram on Monday.
“Was sadly solo at the Oscars cus my handsome date had to fly to Nigeria to vote!
“Super proud of him for making #Nigeriadecides2019 a priority! A noble, humble, & patriotic man ❤️🇳🇬❤️,” she wrote.
Alexx Ekubo replied in the comment section promising to attend next year’s edition with her.
Fancy Acholonu is a model and actress born in Los Angeles, to Nigerian parents originating from Imo state.
She was raised in Nigeria and educated in the USA.
