The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed comedians, Ali Baba and AY, into key positions on its standing committees.
Their names were included in a shortlist released on Wednesday.
The NFF had dissolved all its committees at its last executive committee meeting in October.
Finding their way into the latest committees are the two entertainers.
Ali Baba, regarded as the king of Nigerian comedy, will serve on the marketing, sponsorship and TV rights group with League Management Company (LMC) boss, Shehu Dikko, as his chairman.
His ex-protégé, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, will work under Musa Duhu in the protocol and ceremonial committee.
Aside from the two entertainers, some popular football personalities made it into the 20 different committees.
Ex-internationals, Garba Lawal, Victor Ikpeba and Mutiu Adepoju were named in the technical unit.
The likes of Jay-Jay Okocha, Tijjani Babangida, Victor Agali and Taribo West find themselves in the technical study group.
Ifeanyi Ubah, Paul Bassey, Dominic Iorfa Ibrahim and Musa Gusa are on the football committee.
