Nigerian comedy kingpin, Ali Baba, on Friday, lamented the shortage of female lawmakers in Nigeria.
The 53-year-old noted that other African countries had higher percentage of female lawmakers in their legislature via an Instagram post.
“We, men are a problem. We attend the same schools. We are women do better than we, men, in class. We work in organisations women built or helped to build.
“We, men, are doing well with the support of women in all areas of our lives… But in Nigeria, we are soooooooooo male oriented, we fail to see the value women bring on the table,” he wrote.
Ali Baba and his wife, Mary Akpobome, recently celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary.
