Popular Kannywood actor, Ali Nuhu, has been conferred with a doctorate degree in entrepreneurship and youth development from the ISM Adonai University, Cotonou, Benin Republic.
The 44-year-old announced the feat to his fans on social media on Sunday.
Fellow actors Umar Gombe and Abubakar Muhammad were around to share in his moment of joy.
Born in Maiduguri, Borno State, Ali holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Jos.
He later attended the University of Southern California for a course in film production and cinematic arts.
ISM Adonai offers online courses in management occupations, auditing, accounting and finance.
Recognised by the governments of Benin Republic and Togo, it also attracts students from Nigeria, India, Cameroon, Sudan, Niger, Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.
It was forced to write to Nigeria’s National Universities Commission (NUC) in March after a media report listed it as one of the universities running mushroom centres in West Africa.
