Actor Ali Nuhu has reacted to the shocking death of Kannywood filmmaker Aminu Bono.
The filmmaker died in a hospital on Monday evening after collapsing.
His colleague Babangida Bangis also confirmed his death.
“He was not sick, in fact, we were supposed to meet earlier on and after we spoke on the phone, I was told he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead,” Bangis said.
Reacting to his demise in an Instagram post, Ali Nuhu shared the deceased’s photo and made a short prayer for him in Hausa language.
“May God have mercy on @aminusbono, and make paradise your final abode,” he wrote.
Another Kannywood star Nafisat Abdullahi also mourned Aminu in the comment section of the post.
“May Allah have mercy on him,” she wrote.
“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return,” actress Maryam Booth added.

Aminu has produced several movies like Manyan Mata, Dan Gwamna, Nasamo Me Kahina, Alaqa and Daukaka.
He is to be buried on Tuesday, November 21 according to Muslim rites.
