Actress Ijeoma Grace Agu has won the best actress in a supporting role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) 2022.
The event was held at the Jewel Aeida in Lekki, Lagos State on Sunday.
Ijeoma Grace Agu won for her role in Kunle Afolayan’s film Swallow, beating her fellow nominees, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Dorcas Fapson, Lydia Farson, Maryam Wazari, Samke Makhoba and Siti Amina.
Veteran actress Mama Rainbow and Ghanaian actress Vivian Achor also got a lifetime achievement award at the event.
Bolanle Austen-Peters’ Man of God won best Nigerian film while Tug of War won best overall film.
