Former governor of Lagos State Akinwunmi Ambode and ex-captain of the Super Eagles Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha on Wednesday visited the camp of the Nigerian national team in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
The Super Eagles are part of the 24 national teams participating in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.
Ambode and Okocha enjoined the team to go for a win in their next match.
The duo was led to the camp by the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Gusau.

Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro was also on hand to receive the visitors.
The Super Eagles will play their second group match on Thursday against the host Cote d’Ivoire.
Nigeria came from behind in their opening match to force a 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea.
