American comedian Jimmy Kimmel has ridiculed President Muhammadu Buhari’s response to clone allegations on his live show.
“All he has said is what a cloned person would say,” Kimmel joked on Tuesday night after reading aloud President Buhari’s tweeted response.
The television host posted a video of the show on Twitter asking “Is Nigerian President @MBuhari a clone???”
Earlier on Sunday Buhari responded to allegations of his death and impersonation by a Sudanese named Jubril while in Poland.
“A lot of people hoped that I died during my ill health. Some even reached out to the Vice President to consider them to be his deputy because they assumed I was dead. That embarrassed him a lot and of course, he visited me when I was in London convalescing… It’s real me; I assure you,” Buhari said.
