American rapper, Jonathan Kirk, popularly known as DaBaby, on Tuesday stormed the streets of Lagos with Nigerian pop star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido to shoot a new music video.
In a video shared by the rapper on Instagram on Tuesday, Davido and DaBaby are seen walking down a street in Lagos and they were greeted with cheers from fans who kept calling out the rapper’s name.
The rapper captioned the video, “Day two Nigga”, as he added the Nigerian flag.
Davido could be heard saying,” It’s gonna be a f*cking carnival, carnival Lagos Island style.”
DaBaby arrived in Lagos on Monday to visit Davido.
Upon his arrival in Lagos, Davido gave a warm welcome to DaBaby and promised to take him on a tour around the city of Lagos.
The rapper first visited a shoe store where he bought a few sneakers, then, he shared a video of himself among a crowd of Lagosians, before entering his car.
DaBaby also posted a video of himself spraying dollars as fans cheered him on.
Still cruising around, the musician shared a video of him with Davido in his Lamborghini, DaBaby asked Davido, “where are we going?” and Davido replied, saying “tonight, I will show you Lagos”.
Announcing DaBaby’s arrival earlier, Davido wrote: “My boy finna touch down the Motherland.”
