Former Nigeria international, Emmanuel Amuneke, is delighted with the opportunity afforded him to coach the Tanzania national team.
The former Al Khartoum’s gaffer was announced on Monday as the new boss of the Taifa Stars after reaching a two-year agreement with the country’s federation.
The 47-year-old has taken to the social media to express his excitement on his new challenge as it affords him a chance to develop football in the East African country.
“As a coach, you always want to take on new challenges and keep improving,” Amuneke wrote on Instagram.
“Honoured to be given this opportunity to develop Tanzania football.”
The former Nigeria under 17 boss will be looking to help Tanzania qualify for their second Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
