Andrea Iyamah is a Nigerian clothing line strongly inspired by colour and ethnic cultures.
The brand has been known to push the limits, especially when it comes to what bathing suits should look like.
This season, it is digging into the Egyptian root.
According to Creative Director, Dumebi Iyamah, “There’s something mysterious and daring about the Egyptian culture that sparked my curiosity. Symbolism was important in telling the story behind our SS16 collection”
The brand tries to incorporate pyramids into its first in-house made prints with the spectacular geometry, lines and angles in different bubbly colours.
The campaign greatly conveys the inspiration behind the collection with the choice of a dessert as the location and a far away pyramid in sight.
Makeup, hairstyle and collection are good complements of the theme, which further depicts the Egyptian culture the collection is set out for.
The campaign was directed and photographed by visual artist and photographer William Ukoh of Willy Verse.
