Actress Angela Okorie has responded to rumours about her alleged eviction from her Lagos home due to unpaid rent for two years.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Angela dismissed the claims which were initially spread by a gossip blog.
She clarified that the situation was misrepresented and that her team was already in the process of moving out when the landlord arrived, accompanied by others to film the scene.
According to Angela, this was an attempt to embarrass her publicly.
She also questioned the plausibility of the allegations, asking how a tenant could remain in a property for over two years without paying rent.
The mother of one pointed out that the landlord’s behaviour raised doubts about his credibility.
Additionally, Angela denied claims made by the blog that she purchased a house in Lekki, Lagos.
She emphasised that while she owns other property, she never mentioned buying the specific house in question.
In a strongly worded statement, Angela expressed her frustration and anger towards the blog demanding they provide proof of their accusations.
She also hinted at taking legal action against them.
Addressing the blog she said, “Cutie juice or cutie pie, as gray hair full your pumpum, you still have no sense. The industry and so-called friends have used you for a long time.
“I am coming for you big time. Make sure you have proof of everything you’re saying. Did I ever tell you I bought the house in Lekki County? I have other houses I bought, but I never told you I bought this one. What is wrong with people?”
She continued, “For those living in Lagos, no landlord would allow a tenant to stay for two years without paying rent.
“I wasn’t even around when they pulled this stunt. My team was already packing out. Why are they trying to use Cutie Juice to say I was evicted? Just wait, I’ll be going live soon.”
