A fuel tanker has gone up in flames at Omaba area of Onitsha, about 48 hours after a fire incident in another part of the town.
The fire incident occurred at Omaba Phase two around Chukwudi Bus Stop, Onitsha after another tanker laden with petrol fell at the middle of Onitsha/Enugu Expressway about 3:30 am on Friday.

Executive Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Anambra State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Emeka Obinwa, confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Mr Obinwa said that SEMA team visited the scene about 4 am on Friday, adding that no life was lost.
Several vehicles and property were burnt in the fire.

The latest incident comes two days after three persons were killed, including a mother and her child, when a fuel tanker fell and went up in flames at MCC Bus stop near Toronto Hospital, Upper-Iweka, Onitsha.
Many houses along Iweka Road were burnt, some parts of Ochanja Market were affected while about six houses and vehicles were razed.
