Nigeria-born British boxer, Anthony Joshua, is set to defend his IBF World Heavyweight title against Dominic Breazeale.
The 26-year-old Olympic gold medallist will be fighting the American at the O2 Arena on June 25.
Joshua, who professionally is on 16-0, has won every single fight by knock-out, so anticipation for his 17th bout will be high for his IBF title defence.
Breazeale, 30, is also undefeated, sitting at 17-0 with 15 knockouts, and he will surely provide a stern test for Joshua.
He is 13th in the IBF rankings, below British duo Derek Chisora and David Haye, who are still waiting for their shot at Joshua.
Meanwhile, the decision to give Breazeale the next shot at the IBF title may infuriate others who are still waiting for their chances.
When first named as a potential challenger to Joshua, Breazeale was keen to improve on his last experience in London and he said: “I want to go back to London and finish what I didn’t in 2012. Instead of the gold medal, I want the IBF title, and I guarantee you I’m bringing it back to the United States where it belongs.”
