French footballer, Anthony Martial, has issued a public apology to his fiancée amid cheating allegations.
British newspaper, The Daily Star, alleged that Martial got intimate with a French model last summer while his partner Melanie Da Cruz was pregnant.
The 23-year-old footballer issued an apology to Melanie via Instagram on Wednesday.
“I would like to apologise to my relatives, my beautiful family and especially my fiancée for the harm I have done in recent months.”
“I made mistakes and I’m sorry it will not happen again,” he wrote in French.
Martial and French TV star Melanie Da Cruz got together in 2016 after broke up with previous girlfriend Samantha Jacquelinet.
