2018 Big Brother Naija housemate, Anto Lecky,
on Friday paid tribute to iconic Nigerian women in celebration of the International
Women’s Day.
In a special video uploaded to YouTube, the 29-year-old who describes herself as a feminist is dressed and made up to look like each of the women.
She also posted pictures from the shoot,
which was done by a women only crew, on Instagram.
Among the women she celebrated her activist
and Fela Kuti’s mother, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, Nigeria’s first Olympic gold
medallist, Chioma Ajunwa; writer and novelist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and
late Dr Stella Adadevoh whose intervention prevented the spread of the Ebola
virus in Nigeria in 2014.
Others are media entrepreneur, Mo Abudu; singer, Tiwa Savage; actress, Genevieve Nnaji; art curator and designer, Nike Davies-Okundaye; filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba, and blogger, Linda Ikeji.
Born in North Carolina, USA, Anto holds two masters
degrees in business administration and sports business management.
She was evicted from the 2018 edition of Big
Brother Naija twice.
The International Women’s Day is observed on March 8 every year to celebrate womanhood and recommit to women’s rights.
