All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, on the inauguration of 14 commissioners and five advisers.
The inauguration took place on Tuesday after the commissioners were cleared by the House of Assembly.
Spokesman of APC in Ondo, Steve Otaloro, in a statement on Wednesday said the inauguration was testament to Fayemi’s commitment to democracy.
It said: “We consider it highly commendable on your part to have called to service a set of politicians and technocrats of high integrity and proven mettle.
“As you have sworn in your commissioners in a record time, this confirms your commitment to a true democratic process and the relentless drive to regain the glory of Ekiti State as a land of honour.
“Everyone can attest to your faithfulness to develop your home state socially and economically; also, to evolve a lasting solution to all its political problems.
“Flowing from the past history of the struggle to achieve an inclusive and a democratic constitutional order, you have done very well.”
The party also assured that it would continue to support Fayemi’s vision for Ekiti.
