Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State on Thursday stormed the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State to protest the party’s non-participation in the elections.
They threatened to stop elections from holding in the state if INEC refuses to allow their candidates join in the exercise.
A team of policemen had earlier on Thursday morning barricaded the entrance to the office in anticipation of the protest.
