The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, was also suspended.
The committee also recommended the expulsion of the duo from the party.
Amosun and Okorocha, who were both elected senators last Saturday, have been defiantly supporting governorship candidates other than those fielded by the APC in their states.
Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Uguru, and the Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Osita Okechukwu, were also suspended.
