Abuja-based man who went viral for marrying two women on the same day last year, Babangida Adamu, on Sunday marked the first anniversary of the weddings.
The youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Garki Ward married Maimuna Mahmud and Maryam Na’ibi on March 6, 2021.
The first wedding Fatiha held at Kado Bmiko Juma’at Mosque, beside Kado Bmiko Primary School, 1st Avenue Gwarinpa at 10:00 am, while the second took place at Garki Village Central Mosque, Garki II Abuja at 1:30 pm.
Marking their first anniversary, Sadiq said in a post to Facebook, “Only good and pure hearts can form such a heavenly union. I’m grateful to Allah for having such lovely wives in my life.
“Happy wedding anniversary my dear wives.”
In the pictures posted to Facebook, Adamu is seen carrying a baby which is believed to be his.
The APC youth leader, who is reportedly into real estate, had said it was his childhood dream to marry two women on the same day.
“For long it is my dream to marry two women on the same day, some people felt that it was not possible but God has made it happen,” he said.
