Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni has opened a library and development hub Oseni Center in his village Odogbolu, Ogun State.
The centre held its inaugural debate competition on Saturday with the topic “Are leaders born or Made?”
The debate was won by Princewill Academy. Vintage Academy came second and Odogbolu Grammar School placed third.
The debate competition had in attendance the former managing director of Daily Times Nigeria, Yemi Ogunbiyi; Iyalode of Remoland, Sade Ogunbiyi among others.
Ogunbiyi reiterated the need for improved education and retraining of the students on values.

Oseni wrote on X, “So today I am humbled, I started the Oseni center,a library and development center in my village to impact the next generation. Next target is to do more.I also help train over 20 teachers and started them on the one million teachers platform.”
The Olori of Odogbolu, in her speech, thanked the organisers and called for more funding for the educational sector in Nigeria, stating that all hands must be on deck for Nigeria’s development.
Also a teachers’ training programme was held in partnership with One Million Teachers, where teachers in Odogbolu were taught many social and developmental skills.
Oseni enjoined the students to be steadfast, open to learning and new opportunities.
