The remains of the late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Arisekola-Alao will be buried in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Friday at 9 am.
The body of the late Deputy President-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) is expected to touch down at the airport tomorrow morning after which it will be moved in a motorcade to the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan where prayers will be held.
According to the statement, Alhaji Arisekola-Alao’s remains will be committed to mother earth at his Oluwo Kekere residence, Bashorun Area, Ibadan.
Expected at the burial of the philanthropist are dignitaries from all walks of life, top government officials, representatives of the federal and other state governments, religious leaders, politicians, captains of industry, Muslim Ulamahs and the ordinary folks for whom he lived and died.
The statement added that all arrangements had been put in place to give the late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland a befitting burial.
