English side, Arsenal, has joined the merriment in Nigeria by wishing the country a Happy Independence Day on Monday.
The Gunners flaunt several Nigerians in their ranks but Alex Iwobi is the most popular of all.
“Happy Nigerian Independence Day to all who are celebrating,” the Premier League giants wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of Iwobi.

Iwobi and Arsenal are enjoying a renaissance under Unai Emery this season.
The London club are undefeated in five succesive league matches, climbing up to fifth on the log.
