Nigerians turned up on social media to react to Arsene Wenger’s decision to step down as Arsenal coach.
After 22 years at the helms, the Frenchman has decided to quit the club.
While his decision prompted indifferent reactions, it was an opportunity for the most populous black nation to reflect on its governance.
Many Nigerians hoped President Muhammadu Buhari will be the next to take the exit door.

Arsene Wenger stepping down at 68.
Buhari still want second term at 87. Greed is one reason why Nigeria is a failed country.

Dear Buhari,
I pray that you will leave Nigeria alone come 2019 just as Wenger is abt to leave Arsenal alone after 21 years,
But guess what??? You will leave by fire by force.
Thanks

Just as Arsene Wenger is stepping aside at the end of the season in Arsenal, we want a change of baton in the political landscape of Nigeria. New ideas, fresh inputs and capable hands to take this country to the next great level. #ABC2019 is the way forward.
