Arsenal has confirmed the loan exit of Kelechi Nwakali to FC Porto, wishing the Nigerian well.
For the third succesive season, Nwakali will be away from the Emirates.
“Kelechi Nwakali will spend next season on loan with Portuguese side FC Porto,” the Gunners wrote on its official website.
“The 20-year-old joined us in the summer of 2016, before immediately joining MVV Maastricht on loan. During his time in the Eerste Divisie, the Nigeria international made 34 appearances, scoring three times.
“Last season Kelechi remained in Holland – stepping up to the Eredivisie with VVV Venlo – during which time he made 11 appearances and scored once.
“Kelechi now heads to Portugal and we wish him all the best for his season with Porto.
The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.”
