The controversy surrounding singer Asake and his father, Fatai Odunsi, has deepened as Odunsi and his family make fresh demands, including a N50 million house and a DNA test for an alleged daughter.

Qed.ng reported on Friday that Odunsi publicly sought financial assistance due to his deteriorating health.

He claimed that Asake abandoned him in 2022 after he suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed.

While some sources argue that Asake’s father was absent during his childhood, others claim he was present and it was Asake’s mother—now openly supportive—who initially distanced herself from him.

Responding to the allegations, Asake insisted that he had always provided for his father, stating, “You can’t please the world…

“Even my father wants to cajole me. I used to press money for him with one mind. No one can quench my fire.”

In a new development, Odunsi and extended family members, including Asake’s alleged baby mama, released a video making further claims.

They demanded that the singer provide a house in Isale Eko worth N50 million to generate rental income for his father’s upkeep.

Additionally, they called for a DNA test to confirm whether Asake is the father of an 11-year-old girl, Zinat, whom they claim he has also neglected.

A family representative appealed to Asake, saying, “Even if Nigerians donate N10 billion, just N1 million from you would mean more.

“Buy your father a house in Isale Eko so he can survive. Also, if you doubt Zinat’s paternity, her mother is ready for a DNA test.”

The alleged baby mama also reiterated her willingness to undergo the test, urging Asake to take responsibility if the results confirm he is the father.
