Fast-rising singer Asake has sold out tickets to Lagos concert despite the uproar on social media over the expensive price.
Asake’s show promoters, in a November tweet revealed that the ticket fees for regular would cost N70,000 per head for standing.
The concert, which was tagged ‘Mr. Money With Vibe Feat’, ranged from N70,000 for regular, while other ticket prices reportedly ranged from N4 million to N10 million for the highest price of the VVIP category of the concert.
The news triggered mixed reactions as the fans started dragging Asake on social media with threatening to boycott the event.
However, in a Twitter post on Thursday, the singer revealed that tickets to the event have been sold out.
Sharing a flyer of the event with caption “sold out, Asaka wrote: “Thank you Lagos I have a special announcement for Lagos tomorrow and a special announcement for London tonight.”
The concert, which will take place at Eko Conventional Centre, is scheduled for December 22, 2022.
