Senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) Matthew Ashimolowo has hosted the presiding bishop of Living Faith Church International David Oyedepo in Lagos.
Ashimolowo shared a video of Oyedepo’s visit to his Lagos home on Instagram on Thursday evening.
Revealing how much he enjoys Oyedepo’s company in his home, the KICC leader said it is always a sweet fellowship.
“Always a pleasant and sweet fellowship with @davidoyedepomin in our home,” he wrote.
Oyedepo and Ashimolowo have been friends for over 30 years.
In 2020, Ashimolowo hosted Oyedepo and his wife Faith.
Also present during the visit was the chairman of the board of directors of Lagos Building Investment Company PLC (LBIC) Hakeem Ogunniran.
“Great fellowship with @davidoyedepomin @officialfaithoyedepo born out of 33 years friendship,” Ashimolowo wrote on Instagram.
He captioned his other post: “A time of fellowship, fun, food and friendship with @davidoyedepomin @officialfaithoyedepo @hakeemogunniran at the Lagos palatial home of the Ashimolowo’s.”
When Ashimolowo clocked 70 on March 17, 2022, Oyedepo, who was 67 years old, prayed for him in an Instagram post that his strength would be renewed.
“Happy 70th birthday Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo @matthewashimolowo.official. As your days are, so shall your strength be.
“May the oil upon your head remain ever fresh in Jesus’ name. Amen. Congratulations,” Oyedepo wrote.
Ashimolowo converted to Christianity from Islam at the age of 20 after the death of his father.
