Senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) Matthew Ashimolowo has posted a video on Instagram of his “son in ministry” Biodun Fatoyinbo receiving him at an airport in Ilorin, Kwara State capital.
Fatoyinbo had Ashimolowo in Ilorin, for the celebration of his mum Lady Comfort Fatoyinbo’s 80th birthday.
Ashimolowo gave a sermon at the event held on Saturday, March 30.
Sharing the video on Sunday, the KICC pastor said he was blessed to play a part in the occasion.
“Last week, just before embarking on my journey back to the UK, I had the honour of fulfilling a heartfelt commitment in Ilorin. It was a moment of profound joy and celebration as we marked the 80th birthday of the beloved mother of @biodunfatoyinbo, a cherished son in ministry,” he wrote.
“Blessed to play a part in this special occasion; it’s moments like these that truly encapsulate the essence of our journey together in faith.”

Kwara State commissioner for social development Afolashade Opeyemi, representing the deputy governor, delivered a goodwill message at the event.
Pastor Korede Komaiya, on his part, gave the welcome charge.
Musicians like Dare Ogundoyin, Daniel Elijah, and Laolu Gbenjo provided music at the occasion.
