Super Falcons player, Asisat Oshoala, has paid tribute to the late Enugu Rangers forward, Ifeanyi George.
The 25-year-old did so on Twitter on Sunday.
She quoted a tweet announcing the death of the player and wrote, “May his soul Rest In Peace.”
George was involved in a fatal car accident on his way to Lagos from Enugu following the suspension of the Nigeria Professional Football League due to the coronavirus outbreak.
He was confirmed dead on Sunday at age 26.
