Asset recovery: Ortom disappointed me — Charly Boy

Entertainer Charly Boy, born Charles Oputa has expressed disappointment in the immediate past governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom over the alleged discovery and impoundment of government vehicles in his possession.

The discovery was made by the assets recovery committee of the current administration.

Reacting in a tweet on Thursday, the 73-year-old berated Ortom for having such number of vehicles in his possession.

Charly Boy wrote, “See as Ortom go fall my hand.

“How come dem discover over 30 cars for ur garage, wetin you dey take am do. Na only u alone wan ride 30cars, una don craze be dat.

“Before, I bin like U small as u dey follow us tackle Buhari, I no know say u fk up pass.

“I hope all the salaries U dey owe, say u pay before u leave. Kai, U no just try at all.”

The entertainer recently came under criticism after he called on ‘exceptional’ Nigerian youth to revolt against the country.

Charly Boy made the call in reaction to the protests in France over the killing of a 17-year-old boy by a policeman.

“This isn’t Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan. This is France where 9% of the population has brought down entire cities!” he said in reference to the raging arson in parts of Paris, a video of which he shared on social media.

“Karma from Africa? Am waiting on the exceptional Nigerian Youths to reject a system that let dem down. Una destiny dey una hand.”
