The Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN) has celebrated one of its members, Shina Peters, as he turns 62.
The message was shared by the National President of the association, Ayo Balogun, on Instagram on Saturday.
“On behalf of my humble self and the entire members of the Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN), I say happy birthday to an icon, a mentor and living legend, my brother, my friend, my chairman.
“May your years be long in the land of the living; more wins in Jesus name,” she wrote.
The Ogun-born musician is famous for songs like ‘Oluwa Yo Pese’, ‘Omo Bo’ and ‘Give our Women a Chance.’
One of his most popular dancers, Tessy Yembra, died following an undisclosed illness on Wednesday.
