Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 23 election, Atiku Abubakar, was ‘almost mobbed’ on Monday in a Nigerian restaurant in Dubai.
Reno Omokri, an ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, said on Twitter on Monday that Atiku was almost mobbed by staff and clients of Kiza, a Nigerian restaurant in Dubai.
“HE @Atiku, the rigged out winner of Nigeria’s February 23, 2019 elections is almost mobbed by staff and clients of Kiza, a Nigerian restaurant in Dubai. Everywhere he goes, the people continue to show love to Atiku,” Mr Omokri tweeted.
A former deputy spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, is among those with Atiku on his visit to the oil-rich city.
Atiku was last seen publicly in Dubai in the buildup to the 2019 elections.
