Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has commiserated with Senator Ben Murray-Bruce on the death of his wife, Evelyn.
Murray-Bruce announced his wife’s death on Friday.
Tweeting in reaction, Atiku wrote: “My good friend and brother, @benmurraybruce, on behalf of my family, I extend our deepest condolences. Your family are in our thoughts and prayers. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.”
Senator Dino Melaye also wrote on Twitter, “Rest in peace Mrs Bruce.”
Reno Omokri, a former aide of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, in a tweet said Bruce’s wife lived a beautiful life and would be ‘deeply missed’.
“My good friend @benmurraybruce, the news of your wife’s death saddens me. You and I have been friends for years & now more like brothers. I grieve with you and yours. God giveth, God taketh. Your wife lived a beautiful life. She will be deeply missed. May her soul Rest In Peace,” he wrote.
