Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has appeared in a rare video showing off his dance moves.
In the video posted on Sunday to Twitter by a PDP member and former presidential media aide Reno Omokri, Atiku is seen dancing to Davido’s ‘Stand Strong’.
“Watch Atiku dance for Nigeria,” Mr Omokri wrote as caption for the video.
The video begins with the former Vice President in a shirt and a pair of trousers before switching to his more trademark agbada.
The video also shows what Atiku calls his recovery plans: secure Nigerians, grow the economy, strengthen education for productivity, restructure the government to work better, and strengthen the unity of Nigeria.
This came about an hour before his opponent for the presidency Bola Tinubu posted a workout video of himself to disprove rumour about his death.
Atiku kicked off his campaign on September 28 with the public presentation of three books in Abuja.
Rivers, Oyo, Abia, and Benue State governors Nyesom Wike, Seyi Makinde, Okezie Ikpeazu, and Samuel Ortom, who are all PDP members, were not at the campaign flag-off ceremony. The governors are withholding their support for Atiku until the national chairman Iyorchia Ayu resigns.
