Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in February 23 election, Atiku Abubakar, has said that he is willing to have Microsoft, IBM and Oracle verify his claim that Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) servers showed that he won the presidential election.
INEC had declared Muhammadu Buhari of All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the election after he polled 15,191,847 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Atiku, who polled 11,262,978 votes.
But the PDP candidate disagrees, alleging that the original results from the commission’s servers showed that he won by polling 18,356,732 votes while Buhari got 16,741,430 votes.
In response, INEC, through its Director, Information and Communications Technology, Chidi Nwafor, attached a statement on oath that the server results which PDP and Atiku were holding onto were falsified.
Atiku and his party have now filed fresh response to the commission’s submission, stating the details of its servers.
“The Servers from which the said figures were derived belong to the first Respondent (INEC). The figures and votes were transmitted to the first Respondent’s Presidential Result’s Server 1 and thereafter aggregated in INEC_PRES_RSLT_SRV2019, whose Physical Address or unique Mac Address is 94-57-A5-DC-64-B9 with Microsoft Product ID 00252-7000000000-AA535. The above descriptions are unique to the 1st Respondent’s Server,” the claimants said.
They added that they would “rely on experts on Microsoft, IBM and Oracle, amongst others.”
