Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II, in continuation of his nationwide tour and consultation ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election in September.
Atiku was in Benin City, the Edo State capital with his Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization (APCO).
In photos shared on his Twitter handle, the 71-year-old said the visit was part of his nationwide consultation.
He also met the Iyase of Benin, Sam Igbe, whom he said trained him at the Police Academy many years ago.
