Comedian and filmmaker, Ayo (AY) Makun, has celebrated his 48th birthday.
The celebrated comedian posted a picture of himself to commemorate the occasion.

“Happy birthday to me. Thank you lord for another year.Thank you for unceasing grace. Thank you for the unmerited favours. My invaluable thanks to you papa. You love me and it shows,” he wrote.
AY Makun was once a personal assistant to famous comedian, Ali Baba.

He has gone on to establish himself as one of Nigeria’s foremost comedians, he celebrated becoming the most followed African stand-up comedian on social media earlier in July.
His total followership across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter total over 12 million.

He also has a street named after him in Lagos.
