Singer Ayra Starr has rejected comparison between her and American singer Beyonce.
A fan who goes by the name @ChocolateLammy had tweeted saying that Ayra is slowly replacing the multiple Grammy Award winner.
“Ayra Starr is slowly replacing Beyonce,” She wrote.
Reacting to the tweet, the 19-year-old rejected the comparison asking the fan to calm down.
“Baby calm down, calm down,” The ‘Bloody Samaritan’ singer tweeted.
Signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, the music star caught the attention of the Nigerian audience with the release of her debut hit, ‘Away’, early last year.
In August, she released her debut album, 19 and Dangerous, which earned her the number 2 spot on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart in the same month.
