Veteran musician, Baba Fryo, has alleged that he was assaulted by officers of the Nigerian Army.
The singer, born Friday Igweh, made the allegations in posts on social media on Sunday.
“I was humiliated by unknown soldiers I tried forced them to d barrack a female soldier interfere n allowed them to escape the case is under investigation.
“Thanks to Ojo army barrack who took d case on their shoulder I pray they ll surely b caught n brought to book,” he wrote.
He also shared pictures of his battered face.
Baba Fryo came to fame in the late 1990’s for his brand of ghetto music called galala.
He hails from Ajegunle.
