Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is not ready to join the bandwagon of entertainers endorsing all manner of politicians. And it is not because they have not reached out to her.
The internationally acclaimed Nollywood star actress had said in the past that people should not tag her along with others who go from one government house to another with begging bowls in the name of endorsement.
It seems the pressure to join the transformation ambassadors or change agents has intensified.
According to the stunner who just celebrated 20 years in Nollywood, there has been so much pressure to support politicians as elections approach. Her simple answer is “back off!”
Of course, when you are a UN Ambassador, Amnesty International activist and one of 2013 Time 100 most influential people in the world, you do not put your reputation on the line over bread and butter.
